Albany Oregon

Sharing Joy, Fun and Friendship Through Ballooning

Albany Northwest Art and Air Festival

Albany, Oregon is a wonderful place to fly balloons. It's in the heart of the Willamette Valley and surrounded by grass seed farms, the area is never short on great places to land, not to mention the beautiful scenery. The people were just as much fun as the flying too. Saturday night featured a free concert by Christopher Cross and a nice fireworks display. Sunday's flight we flew 13 miles, did 3 hops and got the whole crew in the air. We even climbed up to 3200 feet and got a view of Mt. Saint Helens. Sorry, didn't get the picture.
